A companion festival to the [[International Music Festival Imago Slovenia

The Modern Art Archive of the Moderna galerija / Museum of Modern Art, Ljubljana plus Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova was established in 1971 at Moderna galerija by the curators Ljerka Menaše and Eva Gspan with the objective of systematically collecting and organising data on exhibitions in Slovenia as well as exhibitions of Slovene artists abroad.

Pišece Castle stands on a hill northwest of the village Pišece in Bizeljsko Hills, in the Municipality of Brežice in the south-eastern Slovenia.

Established in 1990, Kres Publishing House specialises in translations of children's literature, but its publishing programme ranges from books by Slovene and foreign authors – including manuals, illustrated books for children and young people, textbooks – to dictionaries (including a Slovenian-Latin dictionary in six volumes) and books on ethnological subjects.

The film production company Cvinger Film focuses on short films, features and documentaries, also in co-production with partner companies mainly from the Czech Republic, Austria and Slovakia.

The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia Copenhagen is also responsible for Finland.

Laibach is a retro-avant-garde music group from Trbovlje, established in 1980.

The LUD Literatura (LUD stands for Literary Artistic Association) was established in 1989 to publish the newly autonomous Literatura Magazine.
